Elnea's available for iOS/Android and also for Nintendo Switch. You can have families with up to 6 kids, and play as one of your children, their children, and their childrens' children to continue playing through the ages.ĭespite being part of a series, it doesn't matter if you make Elnea your first game as each title is pretty standalone. It's feature rich, with multi-generational gameplay. It takes place in the Kingdom of Elnea, where you can be anything from a farmer, to a priest or curate, or even a member of royalty. Each game in the series is located in a different continent of the overall world, and functions as an ai-driven world.Įlnea Kingdom was the first global release, and the only one currently available in English. It's only one year younger than the Bokumono (Story of Seasons) series, starting in 1997. ![]() World Neverland: Elnea Kingdom is the 6th title from a once-Japanese-only series from Althi/Riverhillsoft. Hi OP! I'd like to recommend something adjacent to farmsims, but still in the realm of the lifesim experience. Keep in mind that PoOT and OW are both only a few months old so the guides for them are not as detailed as FoMT. I’d recommend reading up on them at Ushi No Tane to see if any interest you more than the others. Personally, I don’t find them to be that good so I shy away from them. That ended around 2010 but Natsume got to keep the name Harvest Moon and now creates there own games. Long story short, Marvelous created games, Natsume translated them. There is also Harvest Moon: One World, but the games titled Harvest Moon now are not part of the original series. FoMT is very chibi and PoOT is not, but that all comes down to personal preference. Lastly, I personally prefer the graphics in PoOT over FoMT. Personally, I am not bothered by it but if you played the games on the 3DS (A New Beginning, Story of Seasons, and Trio of Towns) this might be an issue for you. A lot of fans have complained about the dialogue not being good, but I find it to be on the same level as the older HM games (games from pre 2010). Core game play is really similar to FoMT, but it does have several features that FoMT is lacking such as decorating your farm and being able to customize your character a lot more. It has the same chill vibes as Stardew Valley. If you played the original (or Back to Nature for the PS) this one will hit them nostalgic feels. It’s by the original creators and a lot of fun.I’d recommend Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town (PoOT) or Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (FoMT).įoMT is a remake of the GBA game with the same name with 2 new romance options, more animals, and a few quality if life improvements. ![]() If you liked harvest moon get the new story of seasons game. Overall, a decent attempt, but they could’ve made a better app game with simple fixes, like just getting the character to follow our finger or allowing us to queue up items to place or something. You have to place and price an item one at a time, and placing it can be difficult. Or place all your tables without blocking other tablesĥ. The angle tables don’t work in corners apparently because reaching is impossible, so you can’t save space. So it’s fun for a bit but without the upgrade it gets tedious.Ĥ. The “passwords” section doesn’t work, any password I found in the 3ds version didn’t work here, google didn’t help so I went to the reviews no one knows.ģ. It’s off and at an angle btw, like it’s off.Ģ. The game censors are off, once you get used to it it’s playable, but they could have done that better. So the game is a simplified version of Hometown story which is fine, the biggest issues the game has is:ġ.
